Welcome to the CILECT Conference 2011 hosted by FAMU

As a founding member of CILECT, FAMU is honored to host this new annual event in the heart of Prague.

Conference:  Exploring the Future of Film and Media Education

The theme of the conference will be Exploring the Future of Film and Media Education  which will comprise of three primary discussions, in panel format.

• Fundamental Values of Film and Media Education
• Benchmarking and Evaluation in International context
• Impact of internationalization

To ensure interaction and discussion each panel will be held three times, involving a smaller number of delagates. During the conference,  each delegate will attend each of the panels. 

General Assembly

On the second day of the conference, CILECT will gather in an Extraordinary General Assembly with the agenda of electing a new president of CILECT.

Regional Gatherings

Regional organizations CAPA, CARA, CIBA, CNA and GEECT will have formal meetings on the first day. 

Networking events

Recognizing that one of most valuable purposes for CILECT gatherings is to facilitate face-to-face meetings and the forming of new relationships between international colleagues, an essential focus will be to promote encounters between delegates with:

• Speed-Meeting Session
• Prague Networking Tours
• Lunches in smaller gatherings

All of the conference events will take place in the Prague center, in walking distance from each other.
